THE PRACTICE
Our History
Hildebran Medical Clinic is an independently owned and operated Family Medicine clinic located at the Foothills of the mountains of North Carolina in the town of Hildebran. The clinic first opened its doors in 1951 and was the office of Lester Coleman MD. Dr. Coleman work at the clinic for nearly 40 years before retiring and selling his practice to Frye Hospital. The practice was purchased from Frye in 1993 with Aaron Swisher MD joining the practice in 1998 and Gary Martin MD joining in 2009. As of 2023 the practice has entered its 72th year of providing quality Family Medical care in the Greater Hickory Metro area.
Our Providers
Aaron Swisher, MD
Dr. Swisher is board certified in Family Medicine and has been at Hildebran Medical Clinic since 1998. Dr. Swisher completed his residency at Summa Health Systems in Akron, Ohio and this is his first and only job since graduating.
Gary Martin, MD
Dr. Martin is board certified in Family Medicine and has been at Hildebran Medical Clinic since 2009. He spent 20 years serving our country in the US Navy before joining the practice.
Lisa Greene, FNP-C
Ms. Greene is certified in Family Medicine and has been at Hildebran Medical Clinic since April of 2023. She received her nursing degree at Winston-Salem State and her Post-Graduate Nurse Practitioner degree from Gardner-Webb University. Ms. Greene brings 20 years of experience working as a registered nurse to her job at HMC.
Amy Neal , FNP-C
Ms. Neal is certified in Family Medicine and has been at Hildebran Medical Clinic since Sept. of 2024. She received her nursing degree from King University in Tennessee and her Post- Graduate Nurse Practitioner degree for Chamberlin College in Illinois.
